Save Workspace

Save your current workspace to preserve all studies, their configurations, and any generated ephemeris data so you can resume later.

How to Save a Workspace

You can save your workspace in any of these ways:

  • Click the Save button on the toolbar
  • Select File > Save from the menu
  • Press Ctrl+S (Windows) or Cmd+S (macOS)

If the workspace has not been saved before, a file dialog prompts you to choose a location and filename. Subsequent saves overwrite the same file without prompting.

tip

The Save button is enabled only when there are unsaved changes. Check the status indicators to see at a glance whether all changes have been saved.

What Gets Saved

A workspace file contains:

  • All studies and their configurations
  • Generated ephemeris records
  • Study order and names
  • Data grid column visibility, order, and width settings
