Copy Study
Create a duplicate of the currently selected study to quickly set up a variation without re-entering all the configuration parameters.
How to Copy a Study
You can copy a study in any of these ways:
- Click the Copy button on the toolbar
- Select Edit > Copy Study from the menu
- Right-click the study in the studies list and select Copy from the context menu
The copied study appears in the studies list with "(copy)" appended to its name.
What Gets Copied
The copy includes all of the original study's configuration parameters:
- Study type, location, zodiac system, reference plane
- Date range and time interval settings
- Celestial body selections
- Metric selections

Generated records are not included in the copy. The copied study is created in an unlocked state, ready for you to adjust parameters and generate independently.
